Learning to work in a modular laboratory."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dina Koltysheva, Assistant Professor of the Department of Bioenergy, Bioinformatics and Environmental Biotechnology (FBT) and Olha Vlasenko, Senior Lecturer at the Department Heat and Alternative Power Engineering (ES IATE) have successfully completed her second internship on &#8220;Advanced anaerobic laboratory training and methods&#8221; conducted by &#8220;Bio-H2 Umwelt GmbH&#8221; in Jena, Germany, within the framework of the develoPPP project \u201cUkraine Energy Autark\u201d \u2013 EPW 4884 \/ Contract No. 81307968, in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (June 13\u201328, 2026).<\/p>\n<p>During the internship, the following areas were mastered:<\/p>\n<p>-Fundamentals of two-stage anaerobic digestion technology in theory and laboratory research<br \/>\n-Laboratory methods for biogas analysis, including fermentation procedures, analytical techniques, and data evaluation<br \/>\n-Methods for conducting and evaluating continuous anaerobic tests under laboratory conditions in accordance with the VDI 4630 standard<br \/>\n-Application of advanced biotechnologies incorporating high-value-added product generation processes within the Ukrainian context<br \/>\n-Preparation for multiplier roles in education, training, and knowledge dissemination<\/p>\n<p>The internship was carried out to support capacity development activities of Ukrainian partner institutions and to facilitate knowledge transfer.
